My Personal Healing Journey
Inspired by my mom, I experienced a palpable sense of my own healing abilities at a young age. She would talk to me about the body’s energy systems and different bodywork practices. I remember seeing this goldish-white light pouring through me, which she called “healing energy”. While I didn’t know what that meant at the time, I knew it was a special gift.
As I grew older, I also grew uninterested in these “weird” things my mom would talk about. But it came back around when I needed it most.
In my teens and early 20s, I experienced persistent and severe health issues. Not only was I sick often, I experienced anxiety, depression, digestive issues, and a lack of inner stability and confidence. My parents took me to various doctors, and I was put on different diet protocols and medications. Nothing was helping. My health and ability to cope became unbearable. I realized I had to take my healing into my own hands…and shortly after I made this decision, I met Daniel.
Daniel is a bodyworker with expertise in Lomi Lomi, a traditional Hawaiian massage that also incorporates prayer, breathing, movement, and specific attention to the abdomen. After the second session, I knew I made a big leap on my path to healing. My awareness began to drop into my body. I was walking differently. I felt light emanating from my body again, just like I did when I was little.
Receiving treatments from Daniel was a true turning point and also opened me up to more opportunities for healing. I began following the various diet protocols and some herbal and nutritional recommendations from holistic experts . After essentially “getting my life back” and reconnecting to this profound light within, it was clear that I was to offer these innate healing abilities to others.
The depths that I’m able to empathetically and energetically understand the pain my clients experience is directly related to the amount of pain I experienced on my path to recovery. The special gift of connecting to a universal healing energy that I so powerfully felt as a child continue to bless me and those who I’m fortune to treat.
